Release gates that prevent assumption

Production support continues after approval
Mass production is not the end of engineering responsibility. Tooling condition, process controls, downstream operations, inspection feedback, and customer changes must remain connected to the released requirements.
When a drawing, material, process, source, or validation condition changes, the team should evaluate the effect before assuming the original approval still applies.
