Eversteel can evaluate special metal components where cold forming, secondary machining, threading, or a combination of processes may provide a practical production solution.
For suitable applications, a component currently produced primarily through machining may be evaluated to determine whether part of the geometry can be created through forming.
The objective is not simply to replace one manufacturing process with another. The objective is to determine the most practical combination of forming, machining, threading, heat treatment, and surface finishing for the required geometry, volume, performance, and economics.
